Job Title: Mechanic I

Role Summary:
The Mechanic is responsible for assembly and disassembly of centrifuge machinery built and repaired in our manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. The Mechanic applies knowledge and experience to complete various tasks associated with centrifuge maintenance along with troubleshooting and problem solving. This position will report to the Shop Manager.

Role Priorities / Responsibilities:
 Responsible for cleaning and disassembly of all centrifuges received into our facility for repair
 Assist in the compilation of inspection reports for client machines (marking, measuring, taking
notes using standardized inspection template, and taking photos for record
 Able to learn about the different types of machines that Kubco repairs, and become increasingly efficient at working on them
 Able to effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment
 Able to adapt to changing priorities as volume in the shop fluctuates
 Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair minor damages
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
 Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
 Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and the ability to document in a detailed manner
 Excellent time management skills
 Comfortable working in MS Office products (MS Word and Excel)
 Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of Operations Management
 Positive, proactive attitude and work approach
 Willingness to learn

Education/Experience Requirements
 Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
 Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus
